MP plants reeds at Lenham

MP Hugh Robertson was invited to plant the final reeds at a newly built reed bed treatment system at Lenham sewage treatment works. The site in Kent owned by Southern Water is undergoing an upgrade to treat 4.3 million litres of wastewater, and includes the installation of a 1860m2 reed bed, designed and constructed by ARM Ltd.
